iAnalyse 3

Music analysis software

Introduction

iAnalyse is a music analysis aided software. It works only on Macintosh OS 10.5 or 10.6.

iAnalyse can synchronize the pages of a score (or PDF images) on an audio or video file. You can draw annotations (graphics, texts or images) on the score, the fade in and fade out of these annotations are also synchronized with the audio file. Moving a cursor on the score to the rhythm of music can be drawn very quickly. The fullscreen and export (images or Quicktime movie) functions allow you to show or distribute your work.

There are 2 versions of iAnaltyse:
LE version is free and contains basic functions for annotating scores.
Pro version (15 €) has specific annotation tools and advanced music analysis tools.

In LE version, a mark appears in exported images and movie ("Réalisé avec iAnalyse - Made with iAnalyse"). To remove it, purchase the Pro version.

You can use versions 2 and 3 of iAnalyse on the same computer. Instead, projects created with iAnalyse 2 are not compatibles with iAnalyse 3.

List of all differences between LE and Pro versions (French)

	Annotations: new tools for drawing the French chords, set theory (prim form and display table values of Allen Forte), table, etc.		Embed video in the slides, so you can view it in fullscreen and export it with the project.
	Browser annotations to see all annotations of your project and to listen musical extracts.		Spectrum (on Intel processors only) drawn on a new window.
	Display the structure from annotations. Embed the structure into the slides.		Display the formal diagram from annotations.
	Creating thematic maps to reveal the relationship between annotations, eg: paradigmatic tables.		Display the variations of tempo.
