iAnalyse 6 marks a new milestone in the evolution of the software. This release has been redesigned in many aspects to provide a smoother, faster, and more intuitive user experience while preserving what has defined iAnalyse from the very beginning: bringing together, within a single environment, the essential tools for music analysis.

Designed for research, teaching, and musical practice alike, iAnalyse enables users to explore musical works from multiple perspectives, including scores, audio recordings, videos, graphical representations, and annotations. Its objective remains unchanged: to facilitate the observation, interpretation, and understanding of musical phenomena through tools tailored to the needs of musicologists, performers, composers, teachers, and students.

This sixth version introduces a modernized interface, new analysis tools, and numerous improvements designed to streamline everyday workflows. Overall performance has been optimized to provide a more responsive experience when working with complex projects, while new features expand the possibilities for exploration and annotation.

iAnalyse 6 will be available this fall for macOS and iPadOS.
